sixeightlabs.com is operated by Six Eight Labs (“6/8 Labs”, “we”, “us”). These terms apply to your use of sixeightlabs.com and to referrals and submissions you make through it. By using the site you agree to them. Licensing deals themselves are governed by the written agreement signed for each deal.

What 6/8 Labs does

6/8 Labs works with companies to supply their business data to AI labs, and with brokers who refer those companies. Companies with 20 to 50 employees register directly through a partner program run by a third party. Larger companies go through our own vetting, and we may work with other partners to complete a deal.

Information, not an offer

Nothing on this site is an offer to buy or license data, or a guarantee of a sale, price or timeline. Figures on the site are illustrative, and figures attributed to other companies are theirs. Any deal requires a signed written agreement, and that agreement controls if it differs from this site.

Our explanations of market-standard terms are general information. We are not attorneys. Please consult your own legal, tax and financial advisers before signing a data licensing agreement.

Your submissions

When you send us information about a company, you confirm it is accurate to the best of your knowledge and that you are allowed to share it. Send counts and descriptions only. Do not send raw records, personal information about customers or employees, passwords or financial account details. Data moves only after an agreement is signed, through the process set out on our data handling page.

Payment to companies

On deals through our vetting, a company is paid in as little as 7 days and within 60 days at most after the AI lab pays and accepts the data, subject to the signed agreement. Companies that register through the partner program are paid under that program’s own terms.

Broker referrals

  • For companies with 50 to 100+ employees that go through our vetting, a referring broker earns 6% to 10% of the deal value, set by lead quality, up to $100K per company. Commission is paid on top of what the company receives, never deducted from it, and is paid within 30 days of 6/8 Labs receiving payment for the deal.
  • Attribution goes to the first broker to submit a company that is not already in our system. A referral is protected for 90 days from the day it is registered. If the company has not started the data check by then, the protection lapses and the company can be referred again; once it has, the referral stays with the broker for the life of the deal. A company name or email already on file cannot be submitted again.
  • Commission is earned only on a closed and paid deal. No deal, no commission.
  • Referrals of companies with 20 to 50 employees through the partner program are governed by that program’s referral terms, not ours.
  • We may ask for a short written referral agreement and tax details before paying. Brokers are responsible for their own taxes.
  • Brokers must have the owner’s permission to make the introduction and must not misrepresent the company, its data or our terms. We may decline any referral.

Links to partner sign-up pages, Calendly and other sites are provided for convenience. Those sites have their own terms, and we are not responsible for them.

Intellectual property

The site’s text, design and code belong to 6/8 Labs. The Mercury engraving is a public-domain work by Hendrik Goltzius held by the National Gallery of Art. Company names and product names mentioned on the site belong to their owners and are used only to identify them.

Acceptable use

Do not attempt to disrupt the site, access it in ways that bypass its security, send malicious code, or use it to submit information you have no right to share.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The site is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent the law allows, 6/8 Labs is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the site, and our total liability relating to the site is limited to $100. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Confidentiality

We treat the company information you send us as confidential and use it only to assess, route and pursue a deal. We share it with an AI lab or partner only as needed for that purpose. Deal terms, prices and the identity of companies we work with are not published.

Responsibility for your submissions

If you submit information you were not entitled to share, or misrepresent a company or its data, you are responsible for the resulting claims and costs, to the extent the law allows.

Suspension

We may stop working with anyone who breaks these terms, submits false information or misuses the site, and may withhold commission on referrals affected by that conduct.

Electronic communications

You agree that we may communicate with you by email, and that agreements and notices we send electronically satisfy any requirement that they be in writing.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute about these terms or the site will be heard in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you agree to their jurisdiction. If any part of these terms is unenforceable, the rest still applies.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms by posting a new version here with a new date. Changes do not affect deals or referrals already covered by a signed agreement.
